Walk to save our green belt and wildlife on Sunday 12 December

Keep Oxfordshire Green

Speculators want to turn Waterstock Golf Course into an industrial hub – this would destroy 200 acres (or 150 football pitches) of Oxford green belt. The developers also have options on 300 more acres of adjacent land.

Villages including Waterstock, Tiddington, Wheatley, Waterperry, Ickford, and Great Milton would suffer thousands more vehicles in our communites, huge increases in pollution, and irreversible damage to our environment and green recreation spaces.

If you think green space is more important than greed, join us on 12 December at 1130 for a ~30 minute winter walk on the Oxfordshire Way footpath and through Waterstock and its Local Wildlife Site

This will be followed by Christmas Fare in St Leonard's, Waterstock’s 11th century church where mulled wine, mince pies and other goodies will be on offer. Any donations to the campaign to save our local greenbelt will be very gratefully received.
