It's been a busy month for Home Barn Farm, not least since the most outrageous spiky hair-style Waterstock has seen since its inception has returned in the form of Laurie (back from a year in Sydney making music andstudying). I have finished my second year at St Hugh's and am getting ready to move to Berlin for my year abroad this summer. Mum has seen two (2) hedgehogs and is glad that we are back to occupy her with things such as moving student kitchen supplies and having to listen to impromptu concerts. The local hedgehog population breathes a sigh of relief that their avid fan is now otherwise engaged.
In impressive Waterstock sporting feats, Keith Stubbs completed his 100km run to Avebury in fourteen hours and in September will be cycling to Paris for Myeloma UK!
We are sad to see Jamie and Emily go from Red Fox Barn, but happy to welcome Jamie and Emily (!) who are moving in this month - a warm welcome to the village and congratulations on your first feature in TheWaterstock News.
For things on this month:Waterperry Opera Festival begins on the 9th August, featuring music for everyone in a beautiful setting.

And now, a closing limerick:
There was a village calledWaterstock
Where the hedgehogs of Englandwould flock
They saw a man there
Who had similar hair
In that little village ofWaterstock
